Assessment

An initial 45 minute assessment with our Housing Needs Advisor will be arranged, designed to identify what advice and support a young person needs and to help in trying to resolve immediate problems such as finding a place to sleep that night and/or accessing benefits.

Young people will explore the underlying causes of their situation with the caseworker who will listen and recommend various options.

Young people determine the pace of progress and what issues are covered. They are always free to interrupt or discontinue any particular approach at any given time. They can return for as many appointments as they need after the initial drop-in session for emotional and practical support.

We use a simple solution focused approach that leads young people through small, realistic and achievable steps to understand and improve their circumstances.

We hold drop-in sessions at various venues as well as at our drop-in centre in Nuneaton. For more details, please see contact us.
